Privacy Policy
November 1, 2026
At C Direct Sound Rental SRL we respect the privacy of people who visit this website and of those who contact us to request information or a quote. This policy explains which personal data we collect, what we use it for and what rights you have over it. This English version is provided for convenience only. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Data controller
C Direct Sound Rental SRL, with its registered office at Calle Ernesto de la Maza No. 7, Torre Melanie VI, Apto. 6/B, Quisqueya, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic, and contact email castillodirectsoundrental@gmail.com, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. The data you send us is stored in our own database of quote requests, which only authorized company staff can access.
2. Data we collect
Through the quote form we collect: name, company, email address, WhatsApp number, type of production, location, shooting dates, estimated budget, project description and any documents you choose to attach. We also record the date of submission and your consent.
Only the name, email, type of production and description are required. We do not ask for data that isn't needed to prepare a quote.
3. Purpose of processing
- Responding to quote and information requests.
- Assessing equipment and crew availability for a production.
- Managing the business relationship before, during and after a contracted service.
We do not use your data for purposes other than those described here, and we do not sell or transfer it to third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to the requested service.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on the free, express and informed consent you give by ticking the corresponding box and voluntarily submitting the form (article 5 of Law No. 172-13 on the Comprehensive Protection of Personal Data of the Dominican Republic). If you hire a service, the data needed to provide and invoice it is also processed to perform that contractual relationship (article 27 of the same law).
5. Data retention
Requests that do not lead to a contracted service are deleted, together with their attachments, 24 months after they are received. If you hire our services, we keep the data for as long as required by applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations. When you ask for your data to be deleted, we will only keep, blocked, what the law requires us to keep, for the required period, and then delete it.
6. Your rights
Under Law 172-13, you may at any time request access to your data, rectification of inaccurate data, cancellation or deletion, and objection to processing. To exercise these rights, write to castillodirectsoundrental@gmail.com stating your name and the email address you used to submit your request. We will respond to access requests within a maximum of 5 business days, and make rectifications or deletions within a maximum of 10 business days (articles 8 and 10 of Law 172-13). Exercising these rights is free of charge. If you consider that we have not handled your request, you may go to court through a habeas data action (article 70 of the Constitution). If you contact us from the European Union, you may also exercise the rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7. Service providers
To run this website we rely on providers that only access the data strictly necessary to provide their service:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting.
- Supabase Inc. — database and private storage of requests and their attachments.
- Resend — sending the notification and confirmation emails for each request.
These providers are located in the United States and may store data outside the Dominican Republic. By submitting the form you expressly authorize this international transfer, which is necessary to receive and respond to your request (article 80 of Law 172-13). We do not share your data with any other third party or use it to send you advertising. This website does not use analytics or advertising tools.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to requests with two-step verification, private storage of attachments with temporary download links, and logging of admin panel access.
9. Minors
This website is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
